Navigating Transition: An Appeal for Partnership and Continued Impact

At There is Hope (TIH) Malawi, we find ourselves at a critical juncture. Due to significant financial challenges, we have made the difficult decision to close our Lilongwe office and relocate all operations to the Lilambwe Centre near Dzaleka Refugee Camp. This move, effective 30th June 2026, is a strategic step to preserve resources while ensuring our presence remains where it matters most, close to the communities we serve.

We are transparent about the reality: if our financial position does not improve by the end of June, TIH will begin moving toward an organisational transition. This is not a decision we take lightly. Our staff, partners, and the communities who rely on us remain at the heart of every choice we make, and we are committed to handling this season with integrity and responsibility.

Yet, this is not a moment without hope. We are actively appealing for bridge funding, strategic partnerships, and realigned collaborations that can help us continue the vital work we have pursued with passion for two decades. We believe in the power of collective action, and we know that together, transformation is possible.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have stood with us over the years. Your solidarity has sustained us, and we appeal for it now more than ever.
