I joined There is Hope in May 2019. I am responsible for the financial and administrative management. My role involves budgeting; preparation of financial reports; making sure that there are effective financial, accounting and human resource policies and controls in place and that resources are being utilized effectively and for the intended purposes. I supervise the Accounts staff, Admin staff and Human Resource.
The work of There is Hope transforms lives of many refugees and Malawians in the host community in the sense that those who had no means of attaining or furthering their education are able to do so with our scholarship programmes and the vocational training programme gives them means of being self-reliant and use their skills to generate income. This indeed brings “Hope” to them and I am happy to be a part of this.
I love spending time with my family and I also enjoy reading.
